Munch
About This Spot
Stepping into Munch feels like discovering a quietly cherished corner in Tigard where mornings and midday meet with an easygoing warmth. The pace here isn’t rushed; it invites you to pause, whether you're grabbing a quick bite to power through your day or settling in with a cup of their carefully crafted coffee. The subtle hum of friendly voices and the aroma of freshly toasted bread set a comforting stage, one that resonates with familiarity yet sparks a small joy with every visit.
This neighborhood spot thrives on a genuine sense of connection—not just between the husband and wife team behind the counter, but woven into every interaction and ingredient. Munch’s food feels thoughtfully composed, the kind of place where you can tailor your own sandwich or burrito just the way you like it, from classic breakfast builds to more adventurous, plant-based creations. Each bite reveals layers of care, from the thoughtfully sourced bread to the housemade garlic sauce, creating a quietly memorable flavor story without any fuss.
The coffee deserves a moment on its own. Crafted from a custom roast that hints at pralines and ganache, it’s both an understated luxury and an accessible comfort. Whether you choose a latte, a strong Americano, or a spicy chai latte, each cup feels like part of the story — a companion to conversation, work, or simply a pause in the day.
Outside seating invites you to linger a little longer, soaking in the calm of the neighborhood as morning shifts into afternoon. The space itself leans into clean, simple aesthetics, where the focus is on the people and the food. Visitors often find themselves returning, drawn not only by the menu but by the warmth and attentiveness of the folks behind the counter.
In a city full of options, Munch settles gently into a niche that’s both unassuming and memorable—a place where everyday moments are quietly elevated, one sandwich and cup of coffee at a time.

Delicious coffee and breakfast sandwich. They have their own blend of coffee and the sandwiches are extremely customizable! And a nice outdoor seating area. Was so glad I chose to come here on my trip. The kind people working were so friendly. Thank you!

Love Love Love this place. Too bad they don't have them in Texas. Great hot and cold sandwiches, fast friendly service from this husband and wife team.

Consistently the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I get the same thing everytime (breakwhich) but they have so many fantastic options. Plus Holly and John are a pleasure!!!

This place is fantastic. I have ordered from here on at least five occasions for work functions. Orders are always ready on time and have never been wrong. The ingredients are always fresh, the bread is soft. The owners are very nice and personable. Restaurant is clean and cute! They have tons of options - breakfast and lunch options in sandwich and burrito form. They also offer vegan and vegetarian options and yummy kettle chips! Today I had an order I realized I forgot to place last week and called them at 9:30am asking if they could accommodate a sandwich order for 20 people by 11:30. They said no problem and my order was even ready 10 mins early. So very appreciative they were able to accommodate me!!! We will continue to order from Munch when we need lunches.

What a great little weekday breakfast/lunch place! The chef and cashier are the husband & wife owners and they were so fun to chat with (late lunch so it wasn't crowded). The food offering is a very creative array of sandwiches (we had lunch) with some options for more intense pepper zest. Definitely a good option to burgers for a workday lunch!

I love this place! Many options and very accommodating if you want adjustments. The owners are the folks taking care of everything day to day and their pride in their work shows in what they do. Aside from that, they’re good, “real,” people. I’m glad to support a local business that makes delicious sandwiches. I eat there every chance I get and order for pickup most Fridays to bring my elderly mom a sandwich too.
